Register or transfer your domain name “.org” now
.ORG is a top level domain created in January 1985, along with other extensions such as .COM or .NET. The purpose of the creation of a generic extension by the American research community DARPA was to allow Internet users to identify the types of websites they were dealing with. Originally, .ORG domain names were mainly used to refer to non-profit organizations and associations’ websites.
.ORG domains are considered as trusted Internet domains and are specifically made for non-commercial entities such as Charities, Institutions, and Cultural Institutions.
An .org domain allows you to build a trustworthy image for your website. Obtaining a .org domain name means that your website is secure, making it easier for your visitors to feel comfortable while scrolling and taking actions on it.
No special procedure is required to register a .ORG domain name.
If you have a website registered under the .COM domain, you can also choose to register the .ORG domain name extension.
To register your .org domain name, you must first check the availability of your domain name. Once it is valid, you can start your procedure via the registration form available on the website.
