To transfer a domain name to Genious Communications, it is necessary to follow some instructions.

1 - Make sure that the Whois information of your domain name is valid, including the email address. Your old and new provider will use this email address to send you information about the transfer. If you ever hide Whois information for your domain name, you can not complete the transfer. You must contact your current provider to disable protection ID.
2 - Unlock your domain name from your current registrar. (Registrar Lock: off)
3 - Get your authorization code (also called EPP code or transfer code) from your current provider. Note that some domain names extensions, mostly top-level domain names (ccTLDs), do not require authorization code. Some hosting providers offer you the possibility to get the authorization code by yourself, while in others you get it by email on request.
4 - Finally, get a domain name transfer order from our website. We will send an email to the administrative contact of the domain name containing the transfer ID you will need to authorize the transfer.
